.....it's the circle of spheres, it's the wheel of fortune!

Bored on a sunday afternoon. I thought let's have a play with photons and area lights - like you do! Anyway, it turned out nice again. Very very simple picture but quite interesting. Another slightly girly picture me thinks though - what's happening to me!

> Includes
Rendered in MegaPOV (purely to be able to generate a depth map for the Depth of Field). Nothing special apart from the standard includes; rad_def.inc used for the radiosity settings and pprocess used for generating the depth map.
> Textures
A glass texture was used for each of the spheres (finish and inetrior). The plane is just a white non-reflective surface.
> Objects
The objects in the scene are very very simple. The spheres themselves are, guess what - you'll be suprised, just spheres - hollow on. The floor is just a ground plane. A loop with a macro was used to position the spheres on a circle with an angle of 45deg. Each of the spheres was set as a photon target with reflection and refraction on.
> Scene
The scene was lit using either 1 or 2 convieniently positioned area lights (depending of the final image)! The overall idea on the lighting was to get nice long soft shadows, achieved using the 'circular' and 'orient' parameters. The area lights were set as photon sources. Radiosity was also used in the final render.
